Your Voice 4 Matter

Duration:

Project Summary

The “Your Voice 4 Matter!!” will aim at fostering inclusive governance by ensuring that underserved groups—particularly persons with disabilities (PWDs), women and those in hard-to-reach communities—are actively engaged in the Ghanaian political and governance processes. The project will facilitate debates and engagements between political parties and organizations representing these groups in Oti, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are reflected in party manifestos.

Through activities like town hall meetings, manifesto analysis engagements, and advocacy with Election Management Bodies (EMBs), the project will generate the following outputs:

  • increased dialogue between political parties and marginalized groups,
  • improved accessibility in election processes, and
  • empowered organizations capable of effectively advocating for the needs of their communities.

The project is aimed at promoting equitable political participation and holding political actors, accountable to underserved groups. The project will make a significant difference by enhancing the visibility and influence of marginalized communities in Ghana’s governance at MMDAs, ultimately leading to more inclusive policies and equitable access to development opportunities and services for all citizens
