Background
My Book Buddy revolutionizes children’s access to reading by eliminating the barriers of traditional libraries. Launched in 2022 by Savana Signatures, this initiative delivers books directly to classrooms, ensuring 3,703 primary and junior high students across six districts (East Mamprusi, Sagnarigu, Hohoe, Ho Central, Ho West, and Ayensuano) can engage with age-appropriate books daily. By integrating reading into school routines and homes, the program tackles Ghana’s literacy challenges head-on, fostering skills in comprehension, language, and
writing.
